For those you have used both shelters do you find it harder to find a place to pitch the sawtooth vs the megatarp? The Sawtooth being 14' long and 7-8' across is such a huge shelter that I'm afraid it will be hard to find a spot in the CO mtns.
Has anyone taken a sawtooth and found that it was such a headache to find the right place that perhaps a megatarp is a better answer for backpack type hunting?
Trekking along on normal backpacking trips I'm sure it's easier to use the sawtooth. From my experiences there are not abundant place to pitch the sawtooth where I've hunted in the past.
What would you guys think?
