For anyone dealing with pesky lens caps on their binos

I have an old pair of Simmons 7x42 binoculars that, amazingly enough, still have the original lens caps... despite them being terrible at staying on (no securing mechanism). The eyepiece ones aren't bad, but the objective lens ones are terrible. I checked around and found a really good deal on these ones over on Amaz0n. LINK. They fit well and the rubber/soft-plastic type material feels really nice, like quality OEM. My lens tube opening is 52 mm and I got the ones that are sized for 51.8 mm to 53.3 mm. I feared they might end up a tad loose given the required diameter is on the lower end, but they fit beautifully. What a difference! Anyway, thought I'd post about it here in case anyone has this same annoyance going on with their binos.

I use flip-ups.....
