I recently got a Tactacam Reveal and have been using it around home.

It’s been frosty the past couple mornings and I found out that it won’t detect motion when there’s a heavy frost.

Nothing wrong with the camera, just something to remember

Do you think if you put it in a box/case there would be a difference?

Yes. I have another cam I put in a ‘Birdhouse’ to watch my house and that one doesn’t have a problem

Wonder if you could wipe it down with something that is made to keep fog from forming on glass to stop the frost from covering the sensors and lens.

I’ve had problems with sap dripping down over the lenses also. Started just trying to find dead trees that are still solid enough to not blow over.
