Garmin 64 topo question w/on x chip???

My old gps is done. I like the garmin 64 series and the basic model (64s) is on a great sale at cabelas and I have more than enough points to get it free. My question is, do I need the ST model with topo even though I run a ON X chip? Do they over lay and give you more topo or does the chip have everything I need??

It’s $50 more for the ST model which I think is the exact same but comes with topo loaded on it.

The topo will be another layer you can turn off/on just like the OnX layer.

Is it any better than the On X topo? Trying to see if it’s worth the $50 or will benefit in any way.
