Garmin/OnX question

I bought the OnX elite app for my phone/computer so I would have access to maps of all the states. Now I purchased a Garmin Montana GPS, and I’d like to use the onX maps on that. The only way I can see going about that is to buy all of the state chips for $120 a piece. Am I missing something? Can I just buy a microSD card and download the onX maps onto that?

Should have bought the chip first, you get one year of the phone app free.

There is no way to export any map from the phone app.

That’s what I was afraid of. They said they’d sell me the chip for $40 off. Is here a chip that includes all the states like the phone app?

You get 1 state per chip for GPS. I like that I can use it in a vehicle GPS and my hunting GPS.
