I actually like the Valhalla better than any other pant I've used. The cut is perfect for me and they are very UL/minimalist (perfect for warm/mid weather).

The Valhalla and Ascent are about the same as far as UL (keeping you cool), but the durability of the V and the cut are much better.

I probably should have mentioned these sooner (when I got them), but I hate shooting out info without trying things in the field.

i agree. also nice when you have a set of ascent pants that are on their last legs, a little big nowadays , and didnt last all that long..

I had a pair of ascent pants, didn't have any luck with them. By the end of there first bow season they where toast. I rip the crotch out, one knee and had a bunch of small rips just above the hem. So far the attack pants are holding up great. I am always nervous about buying UL pants. It will be interesting to see how the Valhalla hold up for Aron.
