Seems like quite a bit of paracord. You could cut that down and bring a lighter cordage of similar strength.

You'll be fine with that. You could maybe shave some stuff off. You're right about your sleep system being heavy, but you'll be fine. Lots of people get too caught up on gear weights and then when they actually get out there the stuff fails or they aren't as comfortable as they should be.

Why did you take two water purifiers? Just take one- or go on the beaver weightloss program and omit it entirely.

Skip 550 paracord and get 4mm 50 ft accessory rope( Sterling Rope:) This is so you can get down to a sheep if its caught on a ledge and it still will tie stuff up if you need cordage.

Sincerely,
Thomas

Total 5 lbs 2 oz

Total 10 lbs w/ Primus ETA Express (no fuel, its stashed at our campsite.)

Water: 2l Source bladder filled and 1 32 oz nalgene filled
total 7.5 Lbs

Bow: Strother with trimmings
total 6 lbs

Optics: Vortex Razor 10x42 and vortex Ranger in FHF harness

Total 3 lbs

Quick Clot
Rubber Gloves
4x4
Duct Tape
Ibuprofen
Neosporin packets
Alcohol wipes
Mole skin
Super glue

Hygiene Kit:
MSR camp towel
Spare contacts
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Deodorant
TP roll
Dehydrated soap

Clothes:
First Lite Llano
First Lite Brimmed Beanie
First Lite Kanab Pants
North Face Fleece
Smartwool Socks
Saloman Quest4d boots
Outdoor Research Expedition Crocodiles
Goretex Paclite Rain Jacket and Pants

Total 7 lbs (Clothes not worn in)

Survival:
Bic Lighter
Aqua Mira
Paracord
Vaseline Cotton Balls
Spare batteries for headlamp
Black Diamond Spot headlamp
Emergency Whistle
Spot Beacon
Spare batteries for Spot/GPS
Garmin Dakota 20 GPS
Map of Area
Compass
ASAT bandana

Kill Kit
Carnivore 2 Game bags
Zip Ties
Paracord
Buck Maxlite w/ smith sharpener
Rubber Gloves

The First Aid/Survival/Kill kit all goes into a Kifaru XL pullout and weighs right at 4.5 lbs. I carry it everywhere so it never leaves the pack. Only things that come out are the camp towel and toothbrush/toothpaste/deodorant.

Misc
Bugle
Calls
Trekking poles

I'll be right in the 47-49 lb range fully loaded for 6 days. That includes bow/optics/water etc. Only thing that weight doesn't include is the clothing on my body. I know all the gear can be trusted and I'm sure I could go lighter, but this stuff all works great no need to change. Only thing I need to improve is my own hunting ability!

Larry, thanks for reformatting my list. Appreciate it.
I know I will be super comfortable in my sleep system no matter the weather. We are going for the opener but things can still get nasty. But I sure wouldn't mind shaving 3 pounds and sleeping in my long underwear if need be. Next year for sure.

Thomas, where do you buy this sterling rope? Do you have a link? And yes looking back I can drop the steripen for 5.5 oz loss.

Ohhiitsznik, what is a spot beacon? Use it for emergency?

Tag stew, thanks for the good luck wishes. I will definitely post back if we have some luck. We are hunting the northern most range of the bighorns. Slow growing but a guy never knows.

Ohhiitsznik, you know my 45 pound max rule... We arent going to Pee-Wee's playhouse, so drop some weight and hit the stairs. ;)

On a good note, you scored some points with my girl by adding the SPOT on your gear list- she's a worrier...

HAha, I'll add her number to the text. I could drop some weight if I wear my hunting clothes in... But I dont think it'll be that rough! I could also drop an extra days worth of food....

I would ditch the bear spray and maybe add some "liquid medicine" in case you get sick. that's a good trade in my books.
