German Precision Optics Passion 3X 3-9x40i - G4i

Thinking about giving one of these a try, but can't find a whole lot of reviews on them. Doug says he sells a bunch of them and that he gets positive feedback, but I'm looking for something a bit more specific than that. Thought I'd ask here if anyone has any personal experience/opinions with one that they wouldn't mind sharing. I know lots of guys who spend much more, but I'm not one of them. $650 is a quite a bit more than the VX3i 2.5-8X36 that I'll probably fall back to if I don't hear rave reviews on this one. I'm just thinking the illuminated reticle might be nice to try early and late in the day as my eyes get older. And I hear that GPO is silently making some impressive optics...

I'll tell you what, buy it, use it, if you don't love it return it for a full refund. All I ask is that when you do love it you post about it so other people can see a review of it.

I ended up going with the tried and true VX3i 2.5-8X36.
