I’m asking for opinions on an assumption I’m making. In units 30 and 41 there are multiple private archery B list doe tags. There are specific areas within the unit, confined to mostly alfalfa fields in 30 and orchards in 41 (rural/agricultural).
My assumption is these tags are available in the quantities they are because the deer population is problematic. If I’m correct, I would think it would be easy to find landowners willing to give access. Should I call the local game warden and ask about this?
I have never asked landowners for access before, and am slightly uncomfortable doing so. Is there anything in particular I should avoid doing? I plan to start doing that this week.
