goat hooves

Anyone got any links or advise on turning of hooves on a goat specifically? I'm guessing most hooves would be similar, but though Ive turned many an ear and nose I've never done a foot or hoof. thanks!

Can't turn a hoof. Assume for a full body mount? Just cut around the top of them and pulled off.

Yes, you can “turn” a hoof. Not like ears, nose, eyes, or lips. You need a small, stout, and sharp knife to skin around the inside and pull the fatty tissue out and the “toe” bones out. Then pack with salt to dry before tanning.
