Goat hunting this year

8/3/2019.. my Wyoming wilderness goat. Solo and a long way from the trailhead. Was able to scout him a week before opener and got it done at 13 yards in the cliffs after about a 7 hr stalk.

I think so. His last couple annuli are really close together and kinda hard to count.. but im leaning towards 7ish

Mntnguide what goat area was it that you drew? My wife drew area 1. We have started scouting a little bit. It is a nice area and you can make it as easy or as hard as you want to.

This was in the Tetons in the new area 4 where they are trying to get rid of all the goats

This was the new area 4 where they are trying to rid the Tetons of all goats. Not many to find outside park boundaries and im glad i put in the scouting to find this guy

Thanks fellas. Dream come true, but I think it'll cost me either a move to AK or lots of $$$.
He grossed 51 1/8, was 12.5 years old, and was carried off the mountain by some of my best friends.
