Goat Rope

I finally drew a goat tag in the Montana Beartooth’s. Does anyone have a recommendation on how the 6mm rap lines work for these type of hunts/terrain. My general idea is a 6mm 70m static with a micro jul a pair of tiblocs and 20’ of 3/4” webbing. The kitchen sink will be left in the truck in case I really need it. I am an experienced climber, and have covered plenty of rugged miles living in Montana. When I climb in the alpine I have a 70m 8.2 dynamic, but would like to drop the extra weight/space.

I got a Rappel kit from mammut, I believe it’s a 6mm line.

I shot a nanny 2’ from needing the rope. Dropped her in her tracks with a high shoulder. Otherwise it would’ve been ugly. Finding a good safe anchor is the biggest issue where I was.
