Good Sat. morning hunting

Got out hunting with a buddy this morning and I ended up being the dog hog! 1st stand we saw a grey fox on the way in, but we didn't call anything in on our 1st stand. (Fox aren't in season now). While pulling in to where we were going to do our 2nd stand I reminded my buddy we hadn't seen any "here" in years... Some times I like to be wrong! Had 2 come rolling in at about the 5 min mark. They came in to pup ki-yi's. I connected on a small female at 190 yards. We both burned some powder on the fleeing coyote but neither connected. Had a dry 3rd stand but our 4th stand we had a small male come in to the bunny blues on my open reed. He was coming in down wind so at 226 yards he paussed and I put him down. I was calling with one of the calls I make. It's a Cocobola barrel with a hippo Ivory toneboard.

I think using hippo ivory is cheating. Just kidding, beautiful calls and congrats on the deads.
