Yep. I did get tired of sending Lowa boots back and that's why I am trying Crispis. I have a buddy who has sent back 3-4 pairs of Lowas. I was pleasantly surprised how well GoreTex was to work with. Lowa wouldn't stand behind their product.

Doesn’t lowa use goretex? Can’t you use lowa but send it back to goretex?

I don’t think there are different levels of gor-Tex. A lot of it is, I believe , how stiff the boot is, the more flex the faster they leak. The more ridged boots I have had in the past with Gore-Tex seemed to last longer be fore my feet would get wet. The the lighter hiking boots, that flex much more, some would leak after 10-15 miles were put on them.
