I havent done much coyote hunting with any luck. Only coyotes ive ever gotten have been by opportunity while out deer hunting. Been thinking about getting a caller for a while, and i happened to see cabelas had a foxpro patriot on sale. it was 40 bucks off. I had a $20 gift card, and a code for $20 off $100. So dad gets a new hat for free and i get my ecaller for about 70 bucks. I know its a pretty basic model, but im hoping to get some use out of it this winter and maybe finally get my coyote fur. Ive always had an idea of going out to the black hills and calling some winter for mountain lions. so maybe in time ill get there too.

I picked one up on the same deal as well. Trying to be patient and wait for deer season to end but may have to go play with it soon. Hope it’s not junk!

FoxPro has pretty good customer service.
I have had the Inferno with jack decoy for a couple/3 years now.
Mine was acting up and sent it in, they sent it back pretty quick after
repairing a bent battery connection and connecting the decoy wire
in the right connection (my fault, getting old, cant see anything up close).
Decent machine.
But apparently just calls up crows and hawks.
Planning on doing a lot of calling after Christmas.
I focus mainly on Bobs.

I have a Foxpro model similar price range. It works find for the limited amount I've used it. Taking it to Texas next week to call while in the stand pig hunting. We'll see how it does.
