We have a couple very young hunters and an older hunter in our group that, for obvious reasons, I think it might be wise to keep tabs on... So I am looking for a real-time location tracking system. We hunt the NW Oregon Coast Range so conditions typically are moderately cold and extremely wet. Typically no cell service. I would prefer to not use something that utilizes a cellphone. I am aware of the Garmin Rhinos but is there another system out there that uses its own handheld and has real-time tracking capabilities? Beyond any sort of emergency needs, it would be nice to give the kids a bit more confidence by giving them the ability to check their position against other hunters in the group (5 or 6 in total.)
