Yup. I also like that the kit bag keeps other things handy. Dump the packs and my sidearm is still attached along with a few essentials.

Yup, I keep my GPS, phone, spare mag, compass, lighter, calls and lip balm in mine. Fantastic piece of gear.

I can throw my shield with its holster in the back zip pouch on my AGC Nino pack. Once I get a shorter 44 I think I'd look for a holster to carry on my waist if I'm not wearing a pack - on the waist belt if I am.

Have you tried carrying a set of 8x42's in the kit bag along with your gun? I am debating that purchase right now.

Have you tried carrying a set of 8x42's in the kit bag along with your gun? I am debating that purchase right now.

I can fit my 10x42 SLC's with a Glock in them but it's big and personally wouldn't wear it that way unless it were tied into my pack.

What I do is carry the gear listed in my bag, sling my 8x30's around my neck and under my arm and my 10x ride in my pack.
