Hanwag different lasts/fit comparison

I’d like to buy a pair of Trapper Tops but I can’t try any on and have to order them.

Can anyone compare the Trappers fit to other Hanwags I own.

I hunt in Hanwag Alaska WIDE boots in a US 10 (uk 9) currently.

I also have a pair of hanwag horndls, stuben, and robins in US 10 STANDARD.

I don’t have any of the other boots you listed but I have Ferattas and Makras in a 12. I just got the trappers for Christmas. I got them in a 12 as well, they fit similar to the ferratas but with a little more volume in the toe box.

I’m a C-D width

I tried on the Alaska STANDARD 10s and they were tight, then went to the 10 WIDES and fit perfect.

Im thinking the Trappers are the same last as the STANDARD Alaska. So I’d size up to US 10.5s or 11s to get some width room?

The other boots and shoe i have listed are a different class of boot than the Alaska and Trapper and I’m guessing a more generous fit.

of course I should call a store or Hanwag and confirm but everything’s closed and I’m trying to buy these boots on Sale!!!

Did you end up going up half size for the trappers? I'm in a similar position - the standard Tatra are a little tight on me, I'm thinking the wide model may be the ticket.
