Has anyone tested the REI minimalist bivy?

I have used the three wire bivy for years and it is tough to beat for materials and and toughness. I have used the REI once and returned it. Like comparing a Ford Pinto to a BMW.

DO NOT get the REI one! It has zero breathability, your bag will get soaked and you will get cold! Took me a 10 day trip in Oregon's backcountry to learn this.

I've had one, it's a little small, if you use an inflatable mattress like a Neo air it won't fit inside. Also the netting isn't large enough causing considerable condensation.

I guess my take is completely opposite on the REI bivy.
I can get my BA pad inside, never had my bag get wet.
The screen is not the greatest and you will have rain come through if you are out in the open, giving a refreshing little spray occasionally.
I spent 4 days in rain and snow and humidity high enough to make a Kifaru tipi liner rain like a sprinkler with no moisture in my bivy or on my bag.
2 years ago I spent 5 nights out in continuos rain with no issues.
