Powerstep Orrhotics!!!

Everyone recommended Superfeet for a running insole. I tried them all in store but just wasn’t getting the arch support I needed. Went with blue Powerstep orthotics because they felt better. The arches ended up feeling a little high for my running shoes, so I put them in my hiking boots and holy crap was that a game changer for me. I give them the highest gear recommendation I can. I’m serious. I’d do a commercial for them if I could.

I know everyone’s feet are different, so this won’t apply to everyone, but here is the highest praise I can give: I put the Powersteps in an old pair of hikers I had. Wore them for a while. Got my first nice pair of nice heavy duty boots, a pair of Asolos. Put the Powersteps in there and broke them in. Put maybe 500 or so miles in them after break in, then did a very long thru-hike of just under 1,000 miles. When I finished, I threw those Asolos away because they had all but rotted from the constant sweat. Seems were torn out. Stuff was peeling off. They were a wreck. But before I threw them away, you better believe I pulled out those Powersteps.

Once I got the stink out of them, I put them in my brand spanking new Schnee’s, where they are still going strong today. They may have over 3,000 miles on them by now. I have since bought another pair for my everyday shoes just because I feel I owe it to the company.

Like I said, that’s about the highest gear recommendation I can offer!

Also a fan of the Powerstep orthotics. Closest fit to my feet as custom ones I’ve used from a podiatrist. I have high arches. The Powerstep Originals are about $30 on Amazon. I’ve used Superfeet merino/green and wasn’t impressed.

My wife is a PT and the guy at her clinic that is the foot specialist recommended these for me. They are substantially higher arched than SF Greens and provide a ton of support. If I don't wear them in all my boots/shoes nearly all the time, I'm in trouble. With them, all is good.

Some of us that aren't 20 anymore and have been packing heavy loads for decades, running, etc. have really abused our feet and these things put the shape back in your foot it should have.

Can get then off amazon. Red (high density) full length is what most of would need, would be my guess.

I have a moderately high arch and after reading tons of reviews I settled on superfeet Hunt insoles ($39.99 on Amazon) (orange camo) and man am I glad I did!!!! I’m running a pair of crispi summits and while doing training hikes the pads of my feet were so sore after about 10 miles I could barely walk the next day - after buying the hunt insoles I went on a 21 mile hike on the North Country Trail in Michigan- it’s not the mountains but had some really good terrain- ( about 3000 of elevation gain, lots of switchbacks, up and down ravines along the Manistee River) the first day we did 13.5 miles with 65 lbs and my feet felt awesome!! The second day we hustled and got the last 8.5 miles done fast and beat an incoming snowstorm- my feet have never felt better after a long hike!! Long story short the superfeet Hunt insoles are a game changer for me - as a side note if you have a normal arch superfeet suggests the guide insoles ($49.99 on Amazon ) (green camo) over the hunt insoles - the guides have all of the technology the hunt’s do plus a few more features

I tried various insoles after developing Plantar fasciatus. I finally broke down and had custom orthotics made for my feet. They really helped me get over it. Now, I have 4 sets and use them in every piece of footwear. For me they were worth the price because I was in pain everytime I walked. I have really long toes which puts my arch in a different spot than most insoles including superfeet which hurt even before PF.

Enertor insoles is the best that I’ve used, I was given every single superfeet and they all suck after 100 miles. I got a set of one of the first pairs of enertors in the us a couple years ago and they are sweet.

I'm sure there are maybe better ones out there for me but I've been using the sofsoles too. I may have to bite the bullet and get some custom fitted some day but for now.....
