Anyone ever compared these two? Looking at a full size spotter for this next season. I have the Hawke compact and really like it for a little spotter, and there are loads of great reviews for the Vanguard. Seems like they are both good scopes in the sub 750$ range, but would love to hear folk's experience!

Also interested in this.
The wide angle fixed power eyepiece for the hawk is making me want to sell my vanguard 65mm and switch to the hawk.

I bought the 13x39x50 Hawke endurance ED off camo fire recently. Paired it with a Suri carbon fiber tripod off of amazon. Rokslide is costing me a lot of money!
I was wanting to try a spotter out for general use and future hunting. I'm still playing with it. Overall seems well built, very clear, case fits well.
There was a really good review done on I believe what your looking for. That and the price at CF had me buying one.
