That gets your rifle level, but what about the elevation built into the rings to help with scope adjustments for longer shots.

Right, the advantage of the Hawkins rings is the built-in cant and the level, and what I believe is an uber-high build quality. After you add on to the base talley's with a rail and the after market level, the price is similar.

I bought a set for myself and my dad. We are both very happy. Bertram brass/SporstmansChallenge were great to deal with.

Talley messed up by letting the bases hang over the rail, which looks like crap. We milled out 200+ sets to make them sit nicer.

Are the all canted? You kinda lose spacing with both “feet” facing inward. Just a pet peeve, they look sharp though.

Hawkin's Precision makes the best scope rings. Not only do they have a built in cant and bubble level but the machining is excellent. Tally's are cheap and require lapping.

Never lapped a single Talley in my life..or needed to.

$50 for Sportmatch seems to be the Tikka ticket these days...

Just got another box of these in to beef up the stock. Working with Andy to get 34mm and 1" to really get those lite weight mountain tikkas done up rite.
