I've been running Coast headlamps from Walmart for about 3 years now. It ticks just about every box I've got (mostly eastern whitetail with the occasional western camping/hiking/hunting):
650 lumen
Twist focus beam
3 AAA or rechargeable (not used yet)
Dedicated red/green button and white button
Only thing I hate is accidentally turning it on in my pack or pocket. I glued some plastic to it to try and mod. I'll test it out next week for a fishing and trail cam trip.
