Heated glove?

My dad is over 70 and is having trouble keeping his hands warm when working outside. Anyone have experience with heated gloves? I looked at the Outdoor Research gloves and although expensive, might be worth the money. I found some others online, but I would guess that cheap ones will turn out to be just that....cheap.

Any help appreciated.

These would be sooooo nice for ice climbing. No help, except that I've exercised Outdoor Research's warranty a few times and they've been great about it; if they weren't I'd be much less likely to try a high tech glove with that price tag.

All the Outdoor Research gear I have tried has been extremely high quality. If your father has the need for heated gloves and you have the coin to buy them, I wouldn't doubt that they are worth the money. If you have a problem with them, OR will have you covered.
