At 15 - 45 years old 175 was great. Now 58. Knees are beat up. No need for all the muscle mass to hike or carry. Plenty strong enough for the task at a leaner weight.

6’0 200lbs, ran 2018 season at 190lbs and really struggled with recovery after hitting it hard the first few days, this past season has been a lot better with similar level of fitness.

I'll usually start off the season somewhere around 215-220, I'm 6'6". But my knees don't necessarily like that weight. By the end of the season I'm closer to 200 and feel more like a lean mean fighting machine, and the knees are "usually" happier. But if I go into the season at 200, then I'm coming out way too light.

I'm 5'9" and my "hunting weight" tends to be at 180-185. Body comp-wise, I'm at 34" waist and 46" chest, so I'm not carrying too much around the middle, but that's a daily battle to keep off.

6'1" and 200lbs. Ideally I'd like to drop 5-10lbs, need to do a little more cardio at the gym

5'11" and 145 lbs soaking wet! If I can get to 150 lbs by hunting season I'll be that much better shape!

5”11.5: 205-215, depending on the time of year. Usually come out out of hunting season at 200#.

Sometimes I will dip as low as 195# during Mtn bike season, but the aches and pains seem to set in once I drop below 200#.

Besides, a full grown man should weigh 200#

I agree on the 200 pound part haha. I was a very skinny kid before I found free weights in high school/college, I just don’t have or need as much mass anymore so I’m shooting for 190

I tore my meniscus in early January and haven’t been able to train much. Also, I normally snowboard 4 days a week this time of year and that has been heavily scaled back to cruising with a knee brace once or twice a week. As a result of that, I’ve definitely atrophied away noticeably. Pants are getting loose, legs smaller. Got on the scale today and I was 199#. The horror! I usually weigh closer to 215# this time of year. Had to get a cheeseburger, fries and a milkshake for dinner.

5' 8" 180-185 pounds. 33" waist, 48" chest, I have always been a stalky kind of guy big legs, big chest. I guess lifting weights 5 times a week doesn't help. I tend to ramp up the cardio over summer and try to cut down to that 180 mark, the rest of the year im probably more like 190.

I'm 6' and have been consistently between 192-195lbs for the past 4 years. My training regimen is strength training focused and involves minimal cardio until about 6 weeks prior to hunting season. I usually lose between 8-10 lbs during hunting season.
