Hello Roksliders. I have been lurking and learning the last few months and just wanted to introduce myself as well as thank everyone for all the great information shared here. It is invaluable for us newbs.
A few months ago, I reunited with an old friend I hadn't seen in 15 years or so. Since we had last hung out, he had become avid whitetail hunter and firearm enthusiast, much like myself. He mentioned maybe going out west and elk hunting together sometime. My curiosity was instantly piqued. I started watching youtube videos and boy was I hooked. I have been living and breathing this stuff ever since. I cant imagine how addictive hunting must be after your first successful elk hunt!
Anyway, I just wanted to thank all you veteran hunters who graciously share your knowledge on forums like this. Ive already learned a tremendous amount. THANKS!
