Hello from South Cal

[Wildgame]

New to the forum.

I am down in North San Diego coastal. Like many other locals, I hunt the crowded low success zones of D16,19 and others close by.
I have gone as far north to Jolon to hunt and it seems to me the further north I go the better it gets. I chase Deer, pigs, doves, rabbits, and such either with a rifle or bow.

I am yet to try Duck hunting. It seems to be a different ball game. In the meantime, I am looking forward to the upcoming season. Last year I had a couple of chances but it just didn't work out. Live and learn.

Welcome from Lakewood, Ca. Jolon is a good area for pig as long as you use a guide or have access to private property. Ft Hunter liggett is iffy at best.
