Thought I would introduce myself. Name is Rob and I'm living just outside Merritt British Columbia which is about 3 hours east of Vacouver. Mainly hunt for whitetail and mule deer and also sheep and goats. Mainly backpack hunting. Whitetails have started popping up around here the last few years and I am really loving the challenge of still hunting for them. Have a 10 day backpack trip planned for stone sheep and mtn goat this September

Yeah, pretty lucky here. open season for Whitetails and Mulies and within an hour drive you can hunt 6 pt Elk and Bighorn sheep,which is open season as well. for thinhorns/Mtn goats I drive 12 or so hours North. Only species that isn't open season is Rosie Elk. grizzly and Bison. you have to be drawn for these. Heading on a Grizz/Black bear hunt in a couple weeks as a friend has a Grizz draw 3 hours away. looking forward to it, be my first Grizz hunt. backpack and snowshoes..lol
