Just waiting on my stock which should be here next week. I have a build quote from mike to put together a rifle for my wife. Which is a very reasonable quote! I am just looking for any reviews on his rifles. How His carbons barrels compare to proof or any other insight that could be provide. After talking with him he seem to be a great guy, there’s not a ton of info regarding him or his builds out on the internet or maybe my seaching skills suck! I believe he is a forum member?

Mike does excellent work. He's done 3 rifles for me, 6.5 saum, 25 saum, and a 300wsm. Currently waiting on my bartlein carbons to show up, ans my friend and I are sending actions/barrels for chamber and cerakote. We'll bed them ourselves into xlr magnesium chassis. Mike's chambers look as good as Ryan Pierce or Alex Wheelers. He pays attention to detail on all aspects of the build. Buy with confidence!

My hunting partner, Elkhunter777 on RS has one of his barrels in a 6.5 x 55 and it shoots great. Matter of fact, he just had it put in an AXIAL carbon fiber stock in the tikka action and its gonna be one bad mofo in the mountains.

My “semi” custom 700 in 33 Nosler from Mike is shipping out early next week. Just paid the final invoice on Friday. I can’t tell you about the work quality yet but he’s went over and above on my build. He did a few extra things without asking but he cares and wanted to make sure everything was perfect on the rifle.
This is the type of rifle builder I want, not one that just does whatever work you want done and doesn’t care about the end product. He’s also doing a steel barrel Tikka in 300 WSM for me that should be ready a few weeks.

Ive got one of his summit barrels on a tikka action in 6.5 prc. Shoots factory eldm’s so well I haven’t bothered working on a load for it. Buy with confidence

I have a 300wsm from Mike off a 700 short action, with, Ag stock, hunter carbon barrel, trigger tech, and it flat out shoots. Nothing to be concerned with.

Thanks for the info! Sending out all my parts Monday to him and going to start sourcing parts for 6.5 saum to have him build also. Glad to see a few more pictures of his rifles. They all look damn good!

Using a Tikka? He built me a 6.5saum on a Tikka, believe his reamer is a 298nk 120 freebore. I had him punch another 30-40k on top the 120. Ran his 26" heavy hunter carbon 7.5tw barrel. The rifle routinely shot prime 142smk ammo at 3/4 to half moa. My buddy bought the rifle from me. I recently started load development, and yesterday I tested 150smk with RL26 in prime brass. I had 3 dif charge weights(in pairs) that shot 1", 1/2" and one hole. I don't trust 2 shot groups, so gonna confirm them with 4 shot groups today.

What are you running for powder? Rl26 or 23?

Had mike rebarrel my sako trg 42 with a 30” broughton. He is the tikka man but has never worked on a trg 42. I had 100% confidence going with him. Turned out amazing and shooting factory federal 300smk ammo 1/2”. Looking forward to doing load development. For a custom build I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. Great communication and honest as well which is something to be said.

He told me that factory barrel was the most stupid tight barrel he'd ever messed with.
