I have a fast twist (1:8) Tikka that I worked up 75 ELDM at 3380 fps from its 22” barrel. A couple weeks ago finally got to take it to distance. Well I let my buddy’s 9 year old son do it first. He knocked out a 3/4” group to sight in at 100 then immediately told him to dial up for the 800 yard target. It was dead center .1 mil low. So had him dial out to the 12” at 1k and he went three for three there. Then I wanted a turn to run it at distance. So I adjusted chassis from 11” to my 13.5” LOP and cheek piece in less than 2 mins and it was setup for me.

Fast twist 22-250 is fun though hardly any recoil and 6.1 MILs (21 moa) to 1000 yards is a flat son of a gun.

In the chassis it’s certainly not the lightest at 8.25 pounds before a scope but the ability to dial that LOP down to well below 12” which many kiddos need is nice as well as to change out the grip to a small grip for smaller hands so they don’t have to reach as much is nice as well.
