Was curious if someone could tell me what year(s) this suspension was produced. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I did not buy it directly from Kuiu but did call them to try and get an anwswer but was told they had no one that could help me which I thought was weird. I was guessing to could be 3 to 4 years old.

I think Kuiu came out with the Icon Pro pack/frame system about 2014. Your’s obviously pre dates the Icon Pro release. Those regular Icon frames had a reputation of breaking, so just beware.

So does that era frame or suspension have a reputation of breaking? There is no frame on the pack, just the suspension.

Yours is set up as a frameless daypack without the carbon fiber frame. As far as I know, only the early frames had some instances of breakage, not the suspension systems. You should be good-to-go.

Deductive reasoning makes me think 2013. In 2011 (all off recollection) they only made an icon 3000 and 6000. The very next year (2012)they had a icon 3000, 5000 and 7000. In 2013 they introduced the 1850 and by 2014 I think they went to their icon pro stuff.... i think they only used that lumbar pad in 2012 and 2013 also. 8 know they didnt on 2011s and remember guys on kuius forum (wjen they had it) complaining about the logo lumbar pad the following 2 years. I'd be willing to bet it's a 2013

So then obviously your frame won't break, but this is rokslide and we take every chance we can get to dump on Kuiu.
