I have a friend that has a Swarovski Z6i scope that he is not using and willing to sell for a good price. The only catch is it uses the Swarovski SR rail system which looks pretty cool but doesn’t use any rings like a traditional scope. I need to buy the mounting piece or pieces that will fit my Remington 700 style Christensen rifle.
Can someone point me to a reputable online dealer for this part? So far my google search is turning up obscure European dealers and I’m nervous to order such an expensive part and have to wait 5 weeks for it to arrive, which wouldn’t be so bad unless it’s the wrong part because I don’t really know what to order. Should it be one piece or a two piece? Should I use Christensen’s picatinny rail as a base or directly mount to the action?
Any help please ?
