It has been 89,119 days since July 4th, 1776...and even longer since some hard people made a chain of decisions that lead enough us down the road to war. It is pretty amazing how much has changed and how few people remember the guts, sacrifice, and ideals this country was founded on.

All the fireworks displays have been cancelled and seeing a military fly-by was a much welcome sight to the gaggle of kids we have over here tonight.
