Howdy folks. New guy from Maryland here. I've been hunting whitetail and turkey at home and in nearby states for a few years. My wife gave me the go ahead to start planning a western elk hunt for my 40th, so I'm hoping to learn all I can here.

7Bartman, I'm down in St Mary's. It's definitely going to be tough training for the mountains down here! Luckily, I've had good experiences at altitude in the past, and have spent a decent amount of time in the sierras and Rockies.
