Hike Suggestions

Anybody have any suggestions for an overnight hike for my wife and I this next weekend? We'll be at the Ft Collins Full Draw Festival Friday and are planning on hiking in Saturday, stay overnight and come out Sunday. I was looking at the Arapaho Pass/Caribou Lake trail, but noticed we need to get a wilderness permit and not sure on the timing if we'll be able to get that done. Anybody have any other suggestions within reasonable distance of Fort Collins? Any help is appreciated, PM me if you want. Thanks!

I would avoid RMNP this time of the year and most of the popular trails get hit hard after about 9 am so start early.
What kind of trail are you looking for? How far? Hard? That sort of stuff
