Looking at a HPG Aston House, anyone use this for a 1-2 day hunting pack? I can’t decide if it’s geared more for EDC, Tactical or hunting. I was looking for a bag for camping 1 night, maybe a day hunting pack.
Thx

I hunt with an Aston House Back Country. It works pretty good for a daypack and carrying optics. It doesn't haul much else as far as meat goes.

I have the Backcountry version as well. Terrific as a hunting day pack for cold weather. Best shoulder harness around. You could press it into service for hauling out deer quarters if you used a belt but it wouldn't work for the really big stuff. I hunt when it's snowing so I clip my pulk to the pack when I'm ready to haul animals out.
