Just received the Hoodlum and I'm really happy with my initial impressions. I been someone who has always run a bladder/hydration system (I know a lot of you dont). My question, for those of you who run the Hoodlum (or other bags that simply come with a tab (see below)) as opposed to a sleeve, is how are you all connecting your bladder? I have a platypus 3L bladder and was tinkering with ways to attach.

Also, is there any specific purpose for the small pocket with the straps/k clips or are they just extras? I have attached pics.

The pocket itself is called a chamber pocket and comes with all Kifaru packs. Just for whatever you want to put in it, no specific purpose I guess.

It has been a while since I bought my reckoning, but it came with those straps as well. Don’t quote me, but I want to say they’re for a guide lid if you ever attach one? I’m pretty sure that’s what I used mine for anyway.

Hopefully someone else can pitch in and give you a for sure answer.
