if you have the ability to lock a rifle down in good sand bags really tight you can see how much a scope moves and how fragile they are.

very carefully pinch the scope and rifle with your fingers so as not to move the x hair on a target. you will be amazed at the amount of movement a slight pinch can cause. after this i guarantee you will never pick up a rifle by the scope again.

Scope on my rifle looks the same. I keep thinking I should get a different scope or rings, but it has never lost zero since I put it on 6+ years ago. Killed several critters and still prints groups like this

That looks much better. For me, if a thick business card won't slide underneath without any resistance than it is too low.
