How many points will it take for a nonresident to draw a general season elk tag in 2022? My daughter who will be a senior in high school has 3 points and wants to get an elk tag. Does she have a chance to draw a tag?

As mentioned above, you always have a chance through the random. However, her best chance to draw would appear to be in the higher priced special drawing. With 3 points, she would be very likely to draw but it will cost over 1k for the tag. In 2021s regular drawing, 3 points gave you a 41% chance to draw. I would expect point creep to push that % lower or possible make it so 4 points would be required to guarantee the tag.
