How to prevent accidental NF dialing?

NF NXS 2.5-10X42, learned the hard way how easy it is to move windage dial as rifle goes in/out of horse scabbard. The only thing worse than missing is NOT missing...Both elevation and windage now have big white lines to enable a quick check before shooting. Anybody got a suggestion on a better solution? I would prefer dials that required push button release before moving, does anybody customize NF scopes like that? Suggestions?

scope coat is a help but i add tape to the turrets too!

did we not have thread a few months age where multiple folks said that would not happen?

scabbards and tall turrets are a problem.

Tape and a scopecoat. When you tape, lave an extra 1/2"on the length, fold it over and make a 1/4" pull tab so it's easy to take off when you want it off.

Tape it with black electrical tape and always check both the elevation and windage knobs before firing even with zero stop.
