WTS Howa Mini .223 Barreled Action Sporter 18" threaded

Selling complete Howa Mini!

Barrel has been cut and threaded to 18" by reputable gunmaker/smith.

The blueing has some wear and tear from handling and use, and the action is shiny from shoe polish as bedding release, etc.

Comes with a bedded and bonded EGW HD picatinny rail, a Timney single stage trigger, and Jefferson Outdoors blind bottom metal.

The stock is a Stockys VG mini that has been glass-bedded with Devcon epoxy.

Action screws have been cleaned/degreased, and torqued to 55 in/lbs with Loctite 242 (blue).

Likewise, in addition to rail being bedded and bonded with Devcon epoxy, the screws were cleaned/degreased, and torqued to 18 in/lbs w/ Loctite 242.

It probably has around 750 rounds down the tube. Shoots AAC 77TMK at about 1-1.25 moa for 10 rounds, and Black Hills does a little better. The AAC 77 OTM was about 1.2-1.5 moa for 10 rounds.

Please note, little bit of pitting on muzzle crown from gunpowder corroding before I re-blued the muzzle threads after cutting. Does not affect performance/precision.

I prefer to sell complete, so that's the best "deal". However, I would sell stock and bottom metal for $450 plus shipping. The stock is glass bedded, barrel channel has been opened up significantly, and it has a textured paint on it.

OK: I have the Howa Mini in 6mm ARC with the carbon Barrel. Do you think with the channel opened up it would fit.

Yes, I am very familiar with firearms, I built this gun myself. The action is mini, the stock is a VG Mini, and Jefferson Outdoor only make bottom metals for the mini.

The barrel channel has been opened up significantly in order to free float the sporter barrel. You may have to open it up more depending on in the diameter of your carbon barrel.
