Hoyt Z5 cam bearings

My bearings are bad. Anyone know how to remove them from the cams?

I believe they are flanged on the outside and pressed in on either side of the cam

The bearings dont come out of the cam. Hoyt will need to replace the cams. Are you the original owner?

This, or something similar, might work. I'd be sure to clearly mark each bearing with a sharpie before removal just in case they differ. Good luck.

What’s bad about them? I had dry buzzing bearings on a couple hoyts and all I did was remove one of the plastic covers on the side of the bearings and add in a tiny bit of bearing grease. Problem solved.

One of my bows had a dust seal pop out and get mangled. Those cams still spin fine but now are exposed.
Another bow has very rough bearings in the top cam. I guess it's worth trying to grease those. They are all cheap Chinese bearings that I figured would be easy to replace without having to deal with a dealer.
