Well, my oldest was able to seal the deal tonight in a windy, drizzly day here in WI. It was quite the rodeo to get a shot at these birds as they new the jig was up and we needed to act fast.
She settled and got a 35 yard shot off and rolled this guy in his tracks. Absolute pinnacle of my hunting career so far!
She said the 20ga 3” TSS “didn’t even kick a little”
Edit: to make the spring even better, my youngest was able to punch his first tag as well! We struggled getting the Toms in, but this bearded lady came in and presented a great shot for him. 20 yards and he rolled her.
Side note: While the TSS costs an arm and a leg, the patterns with it out of our .410 and 20ga have been incredible. I’ll be hard pressed to use anything else in the future.
