Over the last few month's I've had some nice 3.5+ bucks hit my cameras on and off with no consistency. Walked a portion of the property yesterday and was unable to find much sign other than some scrathes for acrns. Areas that had rubs and scrapes last year lack sign. About a half mile away there's still 50 acres of standing corn. Gun season opens November 21st here in NY and this chunk of 250acres isn't going to be touched.
Any suggestions on tactics from now to the opener and on/after the opener to try and track down these big boys? My assumption is that things are going to change big time in a few weeks, especially if the corn comes down.
