Hunting from Base Camp or Spike?

Hi All,

How to you find yourself hunting the most and why, from the truck base camp with day ride-hunts or ride in, set up spike camp and hunt from there?

I ride in to a differant spot nearly every day. I only return to the same spot if there is an indication that I need to go farther or try a differant pattern based on tracks I cut the first day.
