Hunting in The Dakota’s

North or South, which one has the most public badlands? Also how about the Black Hills? Is Mule Deer Draw only there for non residents and I’m assuming elk is the same? I read the book The Wilderness Hunter and the way Ol’ Teddy describes the place is somewhat amazing

Archery tags, no draw. Unlimited but you have to apply for them. Can shoot a mule deer or whitetail.

No non resident elk tags, archery or rifle.
