Hope everyone is doing well. I have a CO 444 second season E/S deer tag and a good chunk of ground to hunt. The elevation starts around 7000 and goes up to 9200 in some parts. There is some timber, some open fields and some water, both pond and stream. I was able to take a Buck there last year with a little snow on the ground and sunny days. The forecast this year calls for rain most of the days that I'm there. I don't have as much experience hunting in the rain, how will this change the Deer activity? From researching the forum it seems as though checking the breaks (wooded to open field areas) can be productive as they will bed in the trees and peek out to feed. Also for hunting techniques I'm assuming it makes stalking a bit easier but with more deer potentially bedded, moving even slower would seem to be appropriate, correct?

Thanks for the help.
