I like this idea! You'll have to keep me posted if you're successful in silencing it. I'm also shooting the 2smooth.
Will do. I also like it for the range as then I'm not carrying it in my pocket and I don't have a release pouch. I have a second smaller release that I will probably keep in my bino harness as a backup.

Second year hunting with a hinge. So still learning with it.

The bino harness is a good idea and even a pocket if you have a piece of BCY looped around your belt loop and then hook the release onto it for extra security (if it has a closed jaw like the SX3...a hook would not work).

Then, you just fire the release as you pull it out of your pocket.

I wouldn’t recommend drilling a hole in your release but you just shove it in your jacket pocket or in a bino harness

Sits here on the inside of my badlands bino harness until I’m stalking in on something. Then it usually goes in my right front pant pocket on the stalk.075AD4C4-7793-40EF-8A9D-36532306CB37.jpeg

Don’t make the mistake I made and try to drill a hole in the handle of a tru ball sweet spot. Now I gotta buy a new release
