I'm looking for a light/midweight blaze orange hoodie. I want something like a 100 weight fleece that breathes well and preferably has a durable finish. Trying to stay away from the typical Carhartt cotton/polly blend. I have merino base layers and other midlayers for warmth, just need the blaze orange for hunting with my dogs. I'm usually moving, not quickly, but moving so I don't want heavy insulation. So far, I haven't found what I'm looking for.

I use a mossy oak fleece hoodie from Walmart. It was $14, I returned it and found it in the clearance section and rebought it for $7 lol. It’s been great. It “pills” and looks like crap but it’s comfortable, bright, and stretches nicely over any layers I throw under it. I’m not afraid to abuse it.

A little pricey, but the Sitka Stratus Jacket is awesome. Has a little insulation, is rainproof, and the exterior is soft and quiet. It's just hard to get past the pricepoint for what It is.
