Ice fishing family fun!!

Couple years ago, I fell through the ice while moose hunting. It’s been three years since I finally decided to head back in the ice. A friend invited us ice fishing and we had a blast(despite not catching anything). So much fun was had that day that the kids wanted me to invest in gear. Sold an AR and bam! Powered auger and full set up was purchased. Today we went out on a local lake. Only one was a keeper. But all three kids pulled fish through the ice. My daughter hauled this monster up. She fought it for more than 4 minutes. Proud dad today! My middle child even stopped fighting with his little brother to offer fishing advise. The dog was well behaved. And they’ve already asked to go back out.

Awesome. We spend a lot of time ice fishing, as the kids have gotten older it keeps getting easier to take them. Took them spearing for pike for the first time this winter and they loved it and are now obsessed with doing that.

Good stuff! Got into ice fishing this year as well and enjoyed another winter excuse to get outside. Good job with the kiddos.
